**What does your day at GIP look like?**
- Provide administrative support to estimating department and extended office when required.
- Record information & manage tracking logs for the estimating team.
- Compile and download plans, specifications, addendums, and other bid documents as required.
- Print & organize estimating documents and plans.
- Set up tenders in bidding system.
- Complete tender forms accurately.
- Order Bonds and Insurance for tenders and awarded projects.
- Create Ministry of Labour documents for awarded projects.
- Provide safety documents for field staff.
- Create Subcontract Agreements
- Maintain RFQ files by converting, organizing, and saving information according to the company’s electronic system.
- Answer phone calls, filter to appropriate person and/or record & distribute messages.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results while maintaining a positive and professional company image.
- Manage and mentor junior staff.

- Strong computer skills; Web navigation, document scanning
- Effective and professional communication skills-verbal and written.
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability
- Proficient with MS Word and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.

- Superb communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bowmanville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
