We are seeking an out-going, talented, and hardworking individuals for the position of **Host/Hostess** The host will create an unparalleled guest experience by displaying an engaging and efficient hospitality experience.

Housed in an historic 1862 building, Winifred’s English Pub is a casually refined pub nestled on a beautiful estate property on the Mill Pond and Beaver River in Thornbury.

We pride ourselves on house-made pub fare, handcrafted drinks, friendly staff and a 200 seat patio you’d never expect from a restaurant in Thornbury.

**Responsibilities**
- Ability to remain organized at all times in a fast paced environment
- Ensure all guests are welcomed upon entrance and seated in a timely fashion
- Warmly greet and welcome guests in a courteous manner
- Engage with a large range of guests in a hospitable fashion at all times.
- Understand the meaning of guest satisfaction

**What we are looking for**:

- Possess a welcoming and enthusiastic can-do attitude with sincerity
- Excellent ability to provide the utmost WOW factor experience to our guests.
- Strong communication skills
- Remain professional and poised during peak service hours
- Prior experience will be considered an asset
- Prior restaurant/customer service experience preferred
- Weekends and evenings will be required

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
