Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for the safe operations of the refrigeration plant
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC, compressed air, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform repairs and general maintenance duties associated with the refrigeration and boiler systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilities to ensure mínimal impact to production
- Complete routine inspection and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations
- Work together with all other departments to ensure a productive team environment and the continuous improvement of the plant processes.
- Understand all operating procedures of our facilities processing equipment and can maintain it.
- Ensure all work performed complies with governing practices, codes and regulations.
- Fulfill all Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP. WHIMS, MSDS requirements

**Qualifications for this position include**:

- Class “B” Refrigeration Operator designation
- Millwright and/or Electrician would be an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Driver’s license
- Demonstrated strong all round mechanical & facility maintenance skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $39.04/hr

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- afternoon shift and night shift
- Holidays
- Overtime

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's license (preferred)
- Refrigeration Operator Class B Certificate or equivalent (required)

Work Location: One location

Contract is up to 6 months but can expire at anytime.

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
