THE OPPORTUNITY
OpenText is seeking an experiencedHRBP Director to join our dynamic global HR team. Reporting to a senior HR leader, this role is both strategic and operational in nature and partners with business executives to ensure alignment between people and business strategies. As a trusted advisor, the HRBP Director will support global functional leaders through complex organizational challenges including talent planning, organizational design, change management, and employee engagement.
As a key member of the business leadership team, you will act as an internal consultant, delivering talent solutions in close partnership with HR Centres of Excellence (COEs), while also leading cross-functional projects and initiatives to support our evolving business needs. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the performance and culture of your business group while contributing to OpenText’s broader people agenda.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- A seat at the table with executive leaders to shape business and talent strategies
- The opportunity to lead and execute key global HR programs, such as performance management, compensation planning, restructuring, and change initiatives
- Ownership of talent projects and reporting across a global function, working across regions, COEs, and HRBPs
- Collaboration with highly skilled HR professionals in a matrixed, global structure
- The chance to directly impact the employee experience, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including time as an HR Business Partner supporting senior or executive leadership
- Deep experience in workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and talent management
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders using business acumen and data-driven insights
- Proven project management and communication skills, with strong Excel capability
- Change leadership experience in complex, global, matrixed environments
- A customer-focused mindset and a track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across global teams
SALARY STATEMENT
Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus, and participation in OpenText’s comprehensive benefits package.
