**Our expectations**:
Under the direction of the Gatehouse Supervisor, the Transportation Gate Coordinator supports the transportation team by coordinating the flow of freight through the DC (Distribution Center). They will determine where inbound and outbound trailers will be staged, land Purchase Orders (PO), and schedule live load appointments. They will contribute to ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.
- **Location**: Milton Distribution Center
- **Shift**: Friday to Sunday 5:30 pm to 6:00 am ( Your week is done in only 3 days Enjoy 4 days off per week )

**Your role**:

- Plan and monitor outbound and inbound traffic flow
- Land purchase orders (P.O) by inputting data into DMS system
- Update DMS to systematically add trailers to the yard
- Ensure all loads have correct paperwork and seals required, reprinting paperwork as needed
- Communicate effectively with shunt drivers and yard management
- Efficiently move trailers through the yard and into to dock doors
- Coordinate trailer locations with the Operations team
- Manage live unload schedule and appointments
- Audit the trailer yard to ensure inventory accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies in carrier paperwork or schedule and report findings
- Resolve issues such trailers inputted incorrectly, missing paperwork or loads not being closed on time
- Perform weekly office cleaning tasks
- Other duties as assigned

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- Post-secondary education in Transportation or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
- CITT (CCLP) certification or working towards (preferred)
- Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Remarkable customer service, support and focus
- Familiarity with distribution center operations
- Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Approaches change optimistically; adjusts quickly and proficiently to changing work environments
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
