Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Burlington, Canada Sound Products Ltd. Full time

Sound Products is an A/V and Drive-Thru Communications Integrator, located in Burlington, Ontario, serving all of Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer Phones - answer incoming phone calls and provide support to callers experiencing technical problems with equipment in our line of products (drive-thru headsets & timers, intercoms, sound systems and surveillance). Listen to descriptions of customer issues and determine how and if they can be fixed.
- Troubleshoot - use information from customers to diagnose tech issues and walk customers through the steps needed to fix various problems.
- Submit Service Requests - if customer tech problems cannot be handled over the phone, schedule a repair crew to fix problems on-site.
- Maintain Database - for customer problems and fixes in the solutions database, and add new information to the database when and if new problems and fixes arise.
- Log Calls - keep logs of all calls answered and addressed, including dates and times.
- Evening & weekend on-call rotation
- Other Duties as required

Qualifications:

- Diploma or equivalent in technical or computer-related field, or currently working towards one.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, high level of professionalism.
- Bilingual (French & English) is required.
- Experience in technical support or customer service is an asset.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
