We have an opening for Causal / Part Time LPN at one of our Langley retirement home locations You will oversee running and supervising of the care and housekeeping teams If you love working with seniors and enjoy a fast-paced work environment we would love to speak with you

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and lead a medium size team of approximately 15-20 staff members
- Attend to medical emergencies
- Coordinate staff scheduling
- Various care managerial tasks including and maintaining sufficient health supplies and equipment and staying current with Occupational Health and Safety standards
- Ensure retirement home care delivery aligns with Fraser Health and Provincial regulations
- Time-sensitive communication with care team members, including doctors and pharmacists
- Coordinating and evaluating personalized care plan services, transitional plans and exit plans
- Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides support in the delivery of compassion, efficiency and quality care
- Assists Office Manager with administrative activities
- Provides direction and support to care aides including supervising the work activities of designated staff
- Knowledge of and adheres to the standards of practice and scope of practice of BCCNM of Licensed Practical Nurses
- Invoicing and billing for care services
- On-call responsibility’s

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Current valid certification by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Management Experience
- A cleared criminal record check
- Knowledge and competency guidelines, standards, scope and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Computer skills including the ability to navigate basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrates critical thinking and decision making skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
