The Drillers Assistant is a crucial part of the 2 person drilling crew, responsible for supporting the day to day operation of the drilling rig including operation, mobilization, de-mobilization, maintenance and safety. The assistant role is a physically demanding position ideal for motivated individuals with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Ontario G License REQUIRED**

*Having a DZ license is considered an asset*
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Ensure all site specific safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Actively participate in all safety related meetings including: daily tail gates, last minute risk assessment, etc.
- Help conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Help the Driller in the daily operation of drilling rig.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and repair.
- Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean.
- Perform general labouring duties as required in the shop.

**Experience**:

- Canadian Drilling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
- DZ/AZ License (preferred)
- Assistant Well Technician License (required)
