We are looking for a few more staff for the summer at Camp Jubilee.

Camp Jubilee is a 180 bed residential Camp and Conferance Centre located a short boatride from Deep Cove in North Vancouver We mainly offer camps, School Retreats, Leadership development experiences and rental retreats to children and youth.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and assisting in the overall operation of the kitchen. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and established standards
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing manner
- Assist in the planning and development of menus
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a Camp, Catering KItchen, restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

The Public Transit system is avalable to drop off staff for those that dont drive and we provide room and board for staff will working. Full or part time positions - minimum 3 days per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
