**Position Summary**
The **Investment Analyst** will support both investment evaluation and corporate financial analysis functions. This position is responsible for conducting detailed financial modeling, market and competitive research, investment due diligence, and ongoing portfolio performance reviews. The Analyst will also contribute to corporate financial planning and reporting, including budget versus actual analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision support. This dual-function role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis to evaluate new investment and acquisition opportunities.
- Perform market research and competitive benchmarking, incorporating demographic, economic, and industry data into strategic assessments.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret financial and operational results to support management reporting and decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses of actual results versus budgeted expectations.
- Support transaction due diligence, documentation, and data management for acquisitions, financing, and other strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investment strategy with corporate objectives, while contributing effectively in a small team environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses to senior leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a small team setting, balancing independent work with collaboration.
