**JOB DUTIES**:

- Safely operate and drive a slinger truck to transport and deliver materials to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials using the slinger truck’s conveyor belt system.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete vehicle inspection reports, and report unsafe conditions and accidents
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including the amount of material, the time of delivery and any other pertinent information.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and clients to ensure delivery of materials.
- Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures, and/or regulations, including both wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work schedule including evenings and weekends when required.
- Work in various weather conditions.
- Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
- Work out of town, evenings and weekends as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:

- Valid AZ or DZ class driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract is required.
- Prior experience operating a slinger truck or similar equipment is considered an asset.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledgeable and respectful of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by laws.
- Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety.
- Knowledge of safe use for on-board conveyor belt systems including set up and operating.
- Ability to manage risks and adapt to unexpected changes.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a cheerful outlook and providing exemplary customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- An ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes as dictated by the needs of our customers.
