**Supported Living Manager (Full-time) - Richmond, BC ($72,000 - $76,000/yearly)**

This role oversees two busy Supported Living homes, providing guidance to Residential Care Workers and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to actively participate and contribute to their community.

**YOUR IMPACT**
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staff planning and expense monitoring.
- Ensure high-quality services that promote dignity and empower individuals to make informed decisions and communicate their needs effectively
- Strengthen staff skills in support strategies by providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship in inclusion and positive behaviour support.
- Support individuals in building meaningful connections and living self-determined lives within their community, surrounded by friends and family.
- Build and maintain respectful relationships with individuals, their family members, and support networks, providing progress updates as required.
- Support individuals in directing their person-centred planning and achieving goals aligned with their preferences, beliefs, and aspirations.
- Lead and support a staff team, fostering a positive workplace culture where employees feel engaged, empowered, and valued.
- Contribute to annual budget planning and policy development as required.

**YOUR CAPABILITIES**
- Relevant post-secondary education in social services, human resources, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of experience in the field, demonstrating progressively increased responsibility in program management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and manage personnel and performance issues in a fair, progressive, and respectful manner, while maintaining sensitivity to individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- Strong planning and program development skills, with demonstrated experience.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with other professionals, family members, and community organizations to ensure services are in the client’s best interests and aligned with their goals.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; experience with ShareVision is considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable personal vehicle.
