St Barbara is searching for great people like you to fill a Maintenance Worker position (full-time, permanent) at our open-pit gold mine in Moose River Gold Mines, NS. At St Barbara, you’ll be part of a team working safely to make enduring, positive impacts on your community and the world at large.

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Pay: $23.58/hour
- Healthcare & dental plan and RRSP (after probation)
- 80 hours of vacation (after probation); 120 hours after 1 year
- Overtime hours available

**Schedule**
- Full-time (42 hours/week)
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 12-hour shifts, days and nights
- Day shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Night shift: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

**Duties**
- Complete repairs and modifications related to carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, and general maintenance
- Perform snow removal activities (snowplowing, ice melt spreading, sanding)
- Conduct general labour work
- Record data (fuel logging)
- Assist other site departments as required (safety watch, dewatering)

**Requirements**:

- Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance—or the willingness to learn
- Ability to operate light-mid industrial equipment, such as skid steer, bob cat, and snow plow
- Ability to do physical labour for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license, minimum Class 5 or equivalent
