We are currently looking to fill a permanent, full-time position in our Shipping and Receiving Department located at our Edmonton facility. As a key member of our team, you will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

**Position**:Shipper/Receiver

**Start Date**:Immediate

**Term**:Full-time, permanent

**Salary**:to be determined based on qualifications and experience

**Description**:Reporting directly to the Edmonton Operations Manager. As a member of our highly motivated Edmonton team, you are responsible for daily shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, preparing, receiving, inspecting and documenting inbound/outbound shipments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using the proper handling equipment
- Examine inbound shipments to verify accuracy to orders
- Picking, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pick up
- Schedule and coordinate with both inbound and outbound carriers and couriers
- Prepare accurate bill of lading, inter-branch inventory transfer forms, and loading papers
- Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in a chemical environment is an asset
- Understand safe chemical handling and storage
- TDG and WHIMIS training is a strength
- Forklift experience preferred
- Abiding by company policies and procedures
- Ability to problem solve and work independently or with a team
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Own reliable form of transportation
