The Product Marketing Lead for Capital Group Canada will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic product marketing initiatives and the implementation of product-focused marketing campaigns for the full line up of products for both the Wealth Management (WM) and Institutional (IR) channels. This includes supporting all product launches, existing product line-up marketing materials (e.g., brochures, web pages, presentations, campaigns etc), regulatory materials and other product initiatives.
In fulfilling the role, the incumbent will work closely with various teams including the Investment Product and Research team, Sales, Compliance and other colleagues within Marketing as appropriate with the objective of delivering effective and high-quality product marketing support that helps achieve sales goals and business objectives. You will create, lead and manage the development and execution of new marketing strategies for the existing product line-up as well as for new product launches including tactical strategies, new marketing materials and landing pages (web) in collaboration with Product and Sales. You will work to ensure excellence by developing an in-depth and ongoing knowledge of Capital Group Canada’s product line-up as well as overall investment trends.

- You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of capital markets, asset categories and investment products
- You have a track record of results in Product Marketing within investment management and/or financial services
- You have the ability to proactively assess and identify current and long-term opportunities to competitively position Capital Groups’ investment products within the Canadian investment landscape including both strategic and tactical marketing activities
- You bring superior strategic planning and product marketing and communication capabilities
- You have proven success working with sales and product management/investment teams
- You demonstrate initiative by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- You demonstrate effective and professional service orientation and build appropriate rapport with internal and external contacts.
- You have the ability to influence groups and/or more senior associates.
- You demonstrate the ability to plan processes and work with a group or team to assure work is completed in a timely manner.
- CFA, CIM, CIMA or CSC preferred
