The Bruyère Research Institute (BRI) partners with Bruyère Continuing Care (Bruyère), the University of Ottawa and other stakeholders to conduct relevant and practical health sciences research related to medical education and improving the quality of life for the aging population and people requiring continuing care.
**Function summary**
- Responsible for the analyses of study data and study reports
- Lead meetings with researchers and stakeholders
- Prepare and format research findings (Excel, Graphs, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- PhD or master’s degree with experience in field with significant statistical content (including epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research,)
- Working knowledge of relevant data analysis software (SPSS, Excel, NVIVO) and Microsoft Suite (Word, PPT, Outlook, Team).
- Previous experience and/or exposure to health research
- Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal for a variety of audiences
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Organizational skills, including the ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment, and work in a virtual environment such as teleconferences, e-meetings and video conferencing.
- Critical thinking skills and strong ability to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and independently.

L'Institut de recherche Bruyère s'associe à Soins continus Bruyère (Bruyère), à l'Université d'Ottawa et à d'autres intervenants pour mener des recherches pertinentes et pratiques en sciences de la santé liées à l'enseignement médical et à l'amélioration de la qualité de vie de la population vieillissante et des personnes nécessitant des soins continus.

Qualifications et compétences requises : Doctorat ou maîtrise avec expérience dans un domaine ayant un contenu statistique (notamment épidémiologie, biostatistique, recherche sur les services de santé, etc.)Connaissance pratique des logiciels d'analyse de données pertinents (SPSS, Excel, NVIVO) et de la suite Microsoft (Word, PPT, Outlook, Team).Expérience préalable et/ou exposition à la recherche dans le domaine de la santé Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de communication, y compris à l'écrit et à l'oral pour une variété de publiques. Bonnes compétences rédactionnelles pour aider à la rédaction de subventions, de demandes d'éthique, de manuscrits, d'affiches scientifiques, de divers documents de soutien associés aux projets de recherche.Connaissance de l'analyse des données quantitatives et qualitatives.Sens de l'organisation, y compris la capacité à s'adapter à un environnement de projet dynamique, et à travailler dans un environnement virtuel tel que les téléconférences, les réunions électroniques et les vidéoconférences.Aptitudes à la réflexion critique et forte capacité à élaborer et à évaluer des options et à mettre en œuvre des solutions.
