Host/hostess

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and a desire to create a welcoming atmosphere. Possibility for moving to server eventually.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in managing waitlists and reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns or special requests
- Takeout orders/ payments

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred (e.g., host/host, customer service)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Phone etiquette and strong phone handling skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Hospitality experience is a plus

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
