Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Client Care Assistant, you will work as a team member with all staff assisting in the provision of supportive care to clients with addictions. Your primary duties include providing supportive care to clients, ensuring a safe and secure facility, responding to client requests, communicating effectively with other staff and contributing to a therapeutic environment through interaction with clients. As part of an interprofessional team, you will contribute to the delivery of residential services to persons with an addiction promoting client respect, autonomy, health and improved quality of life. You will support clients to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities. You will also work collaboratively with other health and service providers to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
A valid Class V driver’s license. Standard First Aid. Frequent standing and walking, as well as lifting, pushing/pulling, kneeling, crouching, and reaching while carrying loads of varying size and weights.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience working with clients who have addiction and mental health concerns. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Suicide Prevention training.
