Mississauga, Canada Crossdock Systems Full time

The **Logistics Associate **is responsible for the data entry and track and tracing of the shipments (orders) into our TMS System, Truckmate and plays an integral role as a member of the Crossdock Logistics team. The Logistics Associate must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while ensuring that data is entered and maintained with acute accuracy.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Enters orders accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Verifies team members orders for accuracy and adjust when necessary.
- Prepares orders and RFQ, under the direction of the operations team.
- Responds to customers’ order and/or quote requests immediately.
- Organizes transport and documentation with carriers.
- Tracks and traces shipment’s actual whereabouts and update TMS in real-time.
- Acquire POD (proof of deliveries) for final stage of order processing.
- Develops fruitful business relations and follow up with customers and carriers.
- Creates and maintain customer records by entering and updating account information.
- Enters and maintains accuracy of customer and carrier rates & tariffs in Truckmate.
- Carries out related clerical duties as needed, such as filing and scanning.
- Actively contributes to a team effort to provide great customer service.
- Requirements:_
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 1-2 years experience in the Transportation industry would be an asset.
