**Job Description**:
At Techo-Bloc, the Maintenance Supervisor is a key and essential member with the mandate of overseeing our St-Hubert plants. As a maintenance professional, you are champion of safety, training, and preventive, corrective and continuous improvement maintenance interventions.

We are looking for a highly motivated team member with a strong work ethic and a go-getter, self-starter attitude who is constantly looking to challenge the status quo and lead multiple projects that will help further Techo-Bloc's drive to progress and innovate.

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

- Utilize your extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts to oversee the facility plant, repairs and various maintenance projects;
- Manage a team of plant maintenance technicians, forklift drivers and store clerks
- allocate tasks and ensure their timely completion;
- Intervene and recommend appropriate solutions to complex and new problems **(support maintenance technicians, working side-by-side with floor associates)**;
- Be a role model for health and safety and reinforce safe behaviors in the plants;
- Performs the planning and scheduling activities for corrective and preventive maintenance work orders to improve uptime;
- Responsible for identifying materials, supplies, and repair parts needed and oversees their procurement, to maintain proper inventory and to minimize equipment failures;
- Manages plant maintenance costs and budgets;
- Develop and implement Project Management practices;
- Lead complex industrial troubleshooting through planning, and execution in both mechanical and electrical breakdowns;
- Keep detailed maintenance records on all equipment and tasks performed on the equipment by maintenance team;
- Work in close collaboration with operations and R&D personnel, outside contractors and vendors;

**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- College diploma in a related field (DEC in industrial mechanics or Industrial Electrical Technician diploma);
- 10 years of experience in a **manufacturing organization**;
- 5 years of experience in personnel management
- Strong familiarity with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics;
- Electrical experience in PLC’s and plant automation;
- Team Management: Ability to mentor and train others in both mechanical and electrical aspects.
- License C (an asset)

- Bilingualism (knowledge of English is required to meet the needs of clients based in the United States and outside Quebec).
