Amici is looking for a Super Host that takes pride in the workspace and the food and drinks our guests enjoy. We are a small business and a big part of the local community.

We are looking for crew member to join our team that enjoys interacting with guests. We are looking for a like minded crew member to join us in celebrating the guests we welcome through our doors, who have a strong work ethic and a can do attitude.

Hours for this position are Thursday - Saturday evenings. Potential wage and tip increase based on completion of training and probation.

Description of role summary:

- Go from table to table & engage with our guests
- Knows our food and drink product specs impeccably
- Makes appropriate recommendations for guests
- Continuously impacting the guest experience
- Working with the host team to ensure special occasion notes from our reservation system are being reviewed and actioned on
- Supporting the host team and to ensure the restaurant table flips are maximized

General requirement for the position:

- Restaurant experience is preferred
- Customer Service experience is required
- Needs to feel comfortable with guests of all ages
- Has an outgoing personality but can approach different guests differently
- Would go through Host training & Server Training
- Needs to feel comfortable with Wine Service & Learning Italian Wine offerings
- Focuses on featuring & recommending to our guests

Amici (Italian for 'friends') Wine Bar is a new hospitality experience that opened last year in Downtown Abby. Inspired by Italy's connection to local agriculture, this modern Italian concept will connect to our unique food in the Fraser Valley, paired with a curated selection of Italian and BC wines, quality cocktails and fine selection of BC craft beers. The food menu will feature a unique twist on classic recipes, designed for any occasion - family-style dinners, date nights or just a casual bite to eat or drink with 'friends'. _Salute_
