**About Island Yacht Club**:
On behalf of the management team, welcome to the Island Yacht Club

IYC provides the highest level of service to our members while enhancing their stay on the island. Providing full in-house dining in our award-winning clubhouse, outdoor dining on our waterside patio, pool-side drinks and snacks, or takeout.

We have a position available for individuals with an excellent work ethic, enthusiastic personality, and a strong sense of what giving excellent customer service entails.

**Duties**:

- Attention to detail - organization skills and cleanliness practice
- Assist chefs with the plating and assembling of menu items.
- Set up and tear down kitchen event space
- Maintain a clean work space for the duration of your shift
- Technical skill in preparing and cooking seasonal ingredients
- Multi-tasking and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Dedicated to upholding quality + safety standards
- Following systems and procedures
- Ability to work holidays and weekends

**Education & Experience**:

- Experience in hospitality
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Food Handler’s Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)
