Wearhouse Assistant

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products using forklifts and clamp trucks.
- Operate order pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by ensuring proper storage of goods.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with order picking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of equipment as required.
- Build pallets or crates for shipping purposes when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.02-$24.00 per hour
