Indoor Playground Supervisor

Recharge & Play Wellness Café is focused on providing something for the entire family: fun for the kids & relaxation for the parents.

**The Playground Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the playground is running smoothly for events including open play, birthday parties, camps & childminding.**

**Responsibilities**:
**-Managing staff as necessary to promote efficiency & task completion**

**-Supervising families in attendance and keeping a safe, fun environment**

**-Clean & sanitize the facility before, during, & after playground bookings**

**-Organize & return supplies to proper storage areas after**

**-Maintain open communication with owners and other staff members**

**-Contacting guests regarding booking, protocols & invoicing**

**-Booking birthday parties**

**-Ensuring staff are taking breaks when needed, sending staff home or calling staff in according to the needs of the business**

**-Assisting with training new employees**

**-Filling in as playground attendant when needed**

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- CPR Level C certified
- Current vulnerable sector report
- Education within Child & Youth Sectors, Education, Early Childhood Education appreciated but not required

**Skills**:

- Ability to work independently & efficiently
- Strong leadership skills
- Outgoing personality
- Experience in business management and/or HR
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Enthusiasm and passion for interacting with children of all ages and abilities
- Basic computer skills as scheduling, clockins & curriculum are all in electronic format
- Excellent customer service

Position is currently part time possibly leading to full time as business needs require. Hour expectation is currently 15-25 hrs per week.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
