Millwork Shop Manager

Fast growing door and millwork manufacturer looking to hire an experienced supervisor to run our production facility. We supply and install laminated doors and millwork panels on new high rises and are planning to start supplying closet organizers in the next 6-12 months. Minimum of 5 years in the millwork/cabinet manufacturing is required.
As a Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
*Daily management of a team of 5 - 8 Carpenters.
*Modeling a positive attitude; stay focused and patient to develop a cohesive and successful team
*Implementing a Quality Management System
*Communicating clearly and effectively with a wide variety of people, maintaining a team-building mentality, and delivering detailed follow-through
*Collaborating with team members in problem solving - respect and use talents and knowledge of fabricators. Give direction in a respectful, motivating way *Communicating well and often with carpenters on overall project context, production progress, goals, and targets. Plan and prioritize daily assignments to meet production expectations and schedules
*Mentoring and teaching other Carpenters in best practices, proper tool use, quality control, and critical assessments of all work produced.
*Setting standards for Carpenters throughout manufacturing process
*Making decisions about quality control on shop floor
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
