**Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role**:
The Benefits Specialist acts as a resource person for matters relating to the group programs in place, from administration, communication, renewal campaigns to the front-line service offer in terms of needs related to benefit programs. benefits for all employees of the organization. More specifically, the role of Benefits Specialist consists of:

- Support and answer questions from employees regarding group insurance and saving programs, employee assistance plan, telemedicine, etc.;
- Review the benefits renewal proposal and collaborate with carriers for information requests;
- Ensure the updating of legislative changes and market trends on group benefits;
- Coordinate and promote enrollment and annual renewal campaigns;
- Participate in HR projects aimed at ensuring a good understanding and maximizing the use of programs in place by all _Sherwebers_;
- Perform tasks related to the manipulation of reports extracted from the integrated HRIS, data entry, drafting and sending of communications to employees.

- Collegial degree in Administration or Human Resources Management or any other appropriate Collegial study program;
- 1 to 3 years of experience relevant to the duties of the position;
- Past experience in an insurance company is an asset;
- **Bilingualism** (French and English) required;
- Acute sense of service and customer focus;
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate excellent planning, priority management and strong ability to meet deadlines for deliverables;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software;
- Professional and ethical management of confidential information.
