**Responsibilities**
- Serving meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting in the set up and preparation for service of various items such as beverages, salads, desserts, etc.
- Setting and clearing dining table s and deliver tray service as required
- Assisting with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at the conclusion of each seating as required
- Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area as required
- Assisting with catering, and actively participate in special occasions and theme events
- Assisting in the orientation and training of new Food and Beverage Servers
- Following and comply with health and safety legislation and departmental safe job procedures
- Complying with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures
- Being aware of the Resident Rights & Responsibilities and endeavor to respect and promote it
- Attending in-service training as required in order to better serve the needs of the residents

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for majority of shift
- COVID-19 status
- CPR issued within the last 1 year
- Vulnerable sector check issued within the last 6 months
- Food Handlers Certificate
- step 1 and 2 TB
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Must have a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
- Preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beeton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- dietary aide: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
