**Job Summary**:
Perras DiStefano Construction and Design Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. As a Skilled Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects by executing various tasks with precision and expertise. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the efficient and timely completion of construction projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- **General Construction Tasks**: Execute a variety of construction tasks such as digging, trenching, concrete pouring, and material handling.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate construction equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools, ensuring safety and proper usage.
- **Blueprint Reading**: Interpret construction plans and blueprints to carry out tasks accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
- **Material Handling**: Receive, unload, and organize construction materials, ensuring proper storage and accessibility for construction teams.
- **Assistance to Trades**: Collaborate with skilled tradespeople, providing assistance in tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- **Site Maintenance**: Keep construction sites clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a culture of safety among the construction team.
- **Quality Assurance**: Perform tasks with attention to detail and precision to uphold high-quality construction standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience as a skilled construction labourer, with a track record of successful project contributions.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating construction equipment and power tools.
- **Team Player**: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with construction teams.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the job site.
- **Safety Conscious**: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
- **Reliability**: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic. Must have a valid driver’s licence
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing project needs.

**Education**:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational or technical training in construction-related fields is a plus.

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
