**Job Summary**:
The PixMob Light Board Operator is at the heart of the action, responsible for the programming and live operation of our immersive lighting systems. This crucial role involves translating the creative vision of an event into spectacular light effects synchronized across the entire audience. The Operator works closely with event production teams to ensure seamless integration of PixMob technology, creating a stunning visual atmosphere. This position requires a unique blend of technical lighting skills, artistic sensibility, and the ability to work under the pressure of large live events.

** Location**: On tour (national and international)

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Programming and operation**:

- Program complex light sequences and visual effects using MA consoles, the proprietary PixMob Pro protocol, and industry-standard protocols (such as DMX, sACN, ArtNet, etc.).
- Operate the console live during shows or sporting events to trigger light effects in perfect synchronization with music, video, and other production elements.
- Participate in rehearsals and adjust programming based on feedback from the creative team and artistic direction.

- **On-site technical management**:

- Supervise the installation, configuration, and testing of the PixMob control system (infrared and RF transmitters, servers, etc.) at event venues.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve any technical issues that may arise before or during an event.
- Ensure the management and maintenance of control equipment (for tours).
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of pre-programmed show execution throughout a tour (updating focus, positions, gobos, etc.).

- **Collaboration and creativity**:

- Work closely with lighting designers, directors, and production managers to understand the artistic vision and develop lighting concepts that enrich it.
- Propose innovative and customized visual effects for each event.

- **Travel and logistics**:

- Travel frequently nationally and internationally for events.
- Manage the logistics of their control equipment in collaboration with the production team.

** Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Essential experience**:

- Confirmed experience as a Light Board Operator in the concert or event sector. PixMob prefers MA consoles, but any skill on another console is an asset.
- Familiarity with lighting control protocols (DMX, sACN, ArtNet).
- Comfortable using different types of timecode (LTC, MTC, ATC) and programming them on MA (other consoles an asset).
- Excellent understanding of arena and stadium event structure (schedules, roles, responsibilities, etc.).
- Spoken and written English are essential for communication with international clients.

- **Technical skills**:

- Strong computer and networking skills.
- Ability to quickly learn the use of proprietary software and hardware.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting in a high-pressure environment.

- **Personal profile**:

- Great artistic sensibility and a good sense of rhythm and timing.
- Excellent communicator and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary production team.
- Calm, resilient, and capable of making quick and effective decisions during live events.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and with an excellent sense of organization.
- Passion for music, technology, and the entertainment industry.

- **Assets**:

- Experience with RF control systems.
- Good understanding of optical systems.
- Knowledge of preview systems (Wyg, Capture, Depence, or others).
- Ability to use CAD software. PixMob uses Vectorworks, but any other CAD capabilities are definitely an asset.
