**About Us**:
Murdoch’s Gem Shop was founded in the 1940’s in Dawson City, Yukon, the home of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. The store is now located on Main Street in Whitehorse.

We are looking to bring an amazing person to join our engraving service team and together to drive our vision. We are willing to train an individual with the right aptitude.

**What you'll do**:

- Communicate with customers to verify customers’ requirements for engraving service.
- Operate a laser engraving machine and a diamond drag engraving machine.
- Engrave items of a variety of materials such as wood, glass, plastic, leather, metal as per customer order.
- Clean and quality check pieces upon completion of engraving to ensure the engraving outcome is neat and sharp.
- Clean the engraving machines periodically and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

**Things we consider an asset**:

- Previous experience with machine engraving
- Previous experience in retail business or customer service
- Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with CorelDRAW, Photoshop
- Knowledge about jewellery materials (gold, silver, tungsten, titanium, etc.)

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
