Canada Candy is looking for a Sanitation worker. The incumbent will maintain the facility to the standard the Canada Candy Company requires. The Incumbent will clean and sanitize all areas of production including production machines. Collect and dispose garbage and recycled materials and maintain outside perimeter of the building.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness in all public / work area and replenishes supplies as needed
- Eliminates any garbage, debris and waste on the floor or on the production equipment.
- Cleans production machinery -disassemble for cleaning and reassemble when finished
- Follow proper Lockout procedures on all machinery
- Measures, weighs, or mixes cleaning solutions, using measuring tanks, calibrated rods or suction tubes.
- Maintains work area clean, organized and safe, reports potential hazards to supervisor
- Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices
- Other Duties as assigned in adherence to the CCC GMP policies.

**REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES**:

- 3+ years of experience in similar positions.
- Good communication skills.
- Good follow up abilities.
- Problem solving and organizational skills.
- Results oriented with focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Language: English (preferred)
- Physical dexterity
- ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machinery.
