**Scope of Work**

The Stone Polisher is responsible for ensuring that all pieces leaving the Company are in pristine condition and ready for installation. You are driven by perfection, and results oriented with a focus on superior quality craftsmanship.

**Responsibilities**
- Grinds, polishes granite, quartz, marble and other stones using portable grinding, polishing and buffing tools.
- Select the appropriate abrasive wheel according to the type of stone, and finish.
- Wet stone surface, using hose and guides rotating wheels over stone to smooth the surface.
- Strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent at problem solving with a can-do attitude.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Able to work overtime as required to maintain production schedules.
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day and manually lift stone pieces.

**Required Qualifications**
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must adhere to Health and Safety, SOP’s and delivery standards.
- Must be able to operate chippers, buffers and finishers.
- Experience in the Marble and stone industry is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- stone polishing: 3 years (required)
