Hardgoods Sales Associate

The incumbent is responsible for the sales and merchandising of hardgoods at our Burton or Lifted locations. The associate will possess a strong desire to work in a fast-paced sales environment, providing excellent customer service while using product knowledge to help customers find the appropriate equipment.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Execute the BMR Retail Mission Statement: Deliver an elevated shopping experience to every guest, every time
- Must be confident in all product knowledge relating to hard goods and seasonal accessories
- Seek to learn about the hard goods market
- Execute boot fitting service
- Follow all standard operating procedures which mirror the resort’s retail standards.
- Ensure accurate POS transactions and cash handling
- Execute detailed opening and closing procedures
- Track of inventory
- Potential to work in/with our Demo Service Centre.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- An avid, active skier or snowboarder preferred
- Must exude personal confidence which illustrates itself well on the sales floor
- Must have strong computer and cash handling skills
- Must demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and energy, and thrive working in a dynamic sales environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be willing to receive technical certifications with training provided by Blue Mountain and vendor partners
