**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care services including medication administration and monitoring vital signs.
- Support patients with mobility assistance and heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage with patients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in health status to nursing staff.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care techniques, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in home care settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- A background in cleaning or caregiving is beneficial for maintaining a safe environment for patients.
