Cavendish Farms is currently hiring Temporary Fall Potato Quality Checkers for our fall harvest season. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a hands-on, fast-paced outdoor work environment.
- **Hourly Wage**: $21.06/hr
- **Schedule**: 7 days a week, 10-14 hours per day
- **Start Date**: September 2025
- **Duration**:4-6 weeks (with possibility of extension)
- **Work Environment**:Outdoor work
- Visually inspect potato batches for defects or irregularities
- Conduct tactile assessments to check firmness and freshness
- Verify size consistency across samples
- Ensure potatoes meet standards for uniform color and are free from blemishes
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any quality issues promptly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends
- Previous experience in a similar role or agricultural setting is an asset but not required
