**Rep Basketball (U10-U16) &/or House Leagues Programs (U5-U9) - for Boys & Girls**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic **Rep Basketball &/or House Leauge Coach** (Men or Women) to join our program for the upcoming season (September - June) and beyond. You will have the opportunity to coach one or two teams, depending on your availability and the number of teams we field. We’d love to hear from you
**Key Details**
- **Season Timeline**: Practices and games begin as early as September, with the official season running up to June.
- **Locations**: Practices are held in Vaughan and surrounding areas
- **Games**: Weekend games are located in the Ontario, most of them in the GTA.
- **Transportation**: Coaches are responsible for arranging their own transportation to practices and games.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsibility, in coordination with the organization's CEO, for administrative issues, such as tracking payments, ordering and distributing equipment, coordinating schedules, tracking game schedules, etc.
- Plan and lead dynamic practice sessions to develop players’ skills, techniques, and game strategies.
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to players during practices and games.
- Attend weekend games throughout the season to support and guide your team.
- Evaluate individual player performance, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed and engaged.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check issued within the past three years.
- Valid NCCP certification and passing on-line requirements
- In-depth knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide young athletes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with players, parents, and staff.
- Ability to assess players’ strengths and areas for improvement to tailor training plans.
- A passion for basketball and a genuine desire to mentor and educate youth.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
