Buffet Server

**Overview**
As we prepare to open for the upcoming race season at Georgian Downs Race Track we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Utilize effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering functions is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
