**Our Opening and Your Responsibilities**

As a Field Service Technician, you will troubleshoot and repair industry-related products, perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, resolve first-line customer service issues and accurately complete service reports, in the Quebec city, Quebec territory. You could also lead efforts to modernize, upgrade and convert customers' existing equipment.

**Also within this role, you will**

  • Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group
  • Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that preventative maintenance work is completed on time
  • Collaborate with Mettler Toledo sales representatives to promote and sell service agreements and/or products
  • Ensure productivity standards are met by working with the Scheduling Team
  • Operate a heavy-duty test truck

**What You Need to Succeed**

  • A two-year college diploma in Engineering/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or a Computer Science degree.
  • A Class 5 Driver's License required
  • Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; SAP CRM experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift, transport and place test weights and equipment pf up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments)
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the U. S
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

**Vous devrez également**

  • Dépanner et réparer tous les produits Mettler Toledo au sein du groupe Business Group
  • Vous assurer que les exigences du client en matière de temps exploitable sont respectées et que les travaux d'entretien préventif sont effectués dans les délais impartis.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les représentants commerciaux de Mettler Toledo pour faire la promotion ou la vente de produits ou de contrats d’entretien.
  • Vous assurer que les normes de productivité sont respectées en collaborant avec l’équipe d’ordonnancement.
  • Fournir un soutien technique et relatif à l’utilisation à la fois aux représentants commerciaux et au client.
  • Conduire un camion de test lourd

**What You Need to Succeed**

  • Un diplôme universitaire en génie/Mécanique/électronique/instrumentation industrielle, un diplôme en génie informatique, ou les deux.
  • Un permis de conduire de classe 5
  • De l’expérience avec la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Excel, Word, PowerPoint et Outlook; expérience avec SAP CRM est souhaitable.
  • La capacité à lever, transporter et placer des poids de contrôle et du maté
