Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a chiropractic assistant required immediately, who is striving to support **the [clinic]**’s mission to set new standards of excellence in comprehensive health care. At **The [clinic]**you will get the opportunity to become part of a welcoming comprehensive health centre that provides exceptional Chiropractic Care, Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Custom Orthotics, Acupuncture, Knee Braces, Naturopathy, Osteopathy and other services in the heart of downtown Toronto.

**Requirements**:

- Exprience in health care management

**Duties**:

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical office
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, manual claim submission, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical records.
- Self-motivated and passionate that is capable of working independently and in a team setting

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
