Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the **Warehouse Associate**will be a key player in maintaining the efficiency and order of our Edmonton warehouse. This dynamic role primarily involves the accurate and efficient receiving of incoming goods. A critical component of this position is also the proactive maintenance of a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment, including regular cleaning of floors and shelving, and ensuring products are stored correctly for optimal space utilization and accessibility. You will contribute to smooth operations by adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with the warehouse team to meet operational goals.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist in unloading and processing a diverse range of incoming products. This includes handling full skids using appropriate equipment and manually offloading and sorting floor-loaded containers of loose boxes. Verify counts against purchase orders and identify any discrepancies or damages.
- Proactively maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. This involves regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping and scrubbing floors, wiping down shelves and racks, and ensuring all work areas are free of debris and hazards.
- Efficiently organize received products and stock inventory in designated locations within the warehouse. This includes consolidating items, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring products are stored safely and are easily accessible.
- Support inventory control efforts by participating in cycle counts and contributing to accurate record-keeping of goods received and stored.
- Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Work effectively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflows and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- Maintain a High Standard of Warehouse Cleanliness
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess intermediate computer skills - understanding of shipping portals (Purolator, FedEx, etc.) and document tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), G Suite (Google Docs, Sheet, etc.)
- Basic to intermediate math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

**How to Apply**

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
