Account Director, Pharma

This is a new, **6-month contract position **with the possibility of being extended.
**Role Summary**
We’re seeking a strong Account Director to support leading our Pharma clients and teams to success. Someone who can bring sound business judgment, Pharma and brand launch expertise, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exceed client expectations consistently.
Account Directors (ADs) - in concert with their senior peers - are responsible for understanding, anticipating and disseminating the client’s short and long-term strategic objectives, turning those objectives into a clear and executable strategy and then ensuring that projects and activities align with that strategy.
They show the ability to smoothly transition from a strategic to tactical focus as they have both account level and project-level responsibilities. They understand their client’s business and marketing goals at large, and understand where their project(s) fit in with the overall objectives.
ADs help ensure the success of their PM group partner by ensuring certain project related deliverables activities, including Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Strategic Direction Setting, and client expectation management are provided and managed appropriately.

**We’re looking for someone with**:
- 8+ years of experience in account services in an integrated agency environment
- Diploma or degree in marketing, communications or advertising is desired, though not required
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing and familiar with Health Canada regulations, the PAAB code and medical/legal/regulatory review process (e.g., Veeva)
- Ideally has worked in a creative/marketing agency environment, though client service role in adjacent agency functions (PR, experiential/events, media, etc.) or client-side may be considered
- Has experience working with a Project Management function, which supports the Health/Pharma team significantly
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing and familiar with Health Canada regulations, the PAAB code and medical/legal/regulatory review process (e.g., Veeva)
