Video Producer

**About Us**

**Role Summary**
- The Sophos Support video team works to deflect technical support calls and cases by producing informative troubleshooting, setup, and fundamental knowledge video content that provides our customers and partners with engaging guides that complement product documentation, community forums, and interactive UI guides. The team also works closely with our Support Marketing team to create internal communications.

**What You Will Do**:

- Collaborate with various remote resources to develop and produce engaging video content consistent with brand and style guidelines
- Create visual assets to use within videos
- Upload, organize and maintain video assets in various platforms
- Manage and track video productions using project management software
- Direct and coach on-screen talent to facilitate video and audio recording
- Transport, set up, and operate video production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for video productions
- Maintain studio and equipment as required

**What You Will Bring**:

- ** Essentials**:

- 2+ years of experience in video editing/production
- High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (and familiarity with rest of Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong typography and motion graphic design skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal and organizational skills, with excellent communication skills and ability to give/receive critical feedback
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas/concepts in visual medium
- Understanding of “story” in video production
- An understanding of and eye for quality and consistency
- Shows initiative and is a collaborative team player
- Experience working on branded content
- ** Showreel or portfolio of work required**

**Desirable**
- 2-4 years at a Marketing Agency or Video Production Company
- Experience creating technical video content
- Experience in creating video for a variety of platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn,learning management systems, etc.)
- Experience with captioning and transcription for video
- Experience in the Cybersecurity field (Network or Endpoint security)
