**Title**: VMWare VDI Specialist

**Qualifications**:

- The individual must also possess a keen understanding of GPU technologies and how to use them to improve the performance of a virtual desktop in terms of its responsiveness to its users
- You must be familiar with VMWare, Cloud Infrastructure, GPU supported VMs
- A user can connect to the VM remotely using Horizon Client (with Blast Extreme)
- The user can use a local Group Policy to adjust the maximum Frame Rate for Blast Extreme

**Responsibilities**:

- To be able to provide this support service, we believe that the individual needs to have extensive skill and experience with VMWare on-prem and cloud VDI technologies at the Enterprise level supporting a large number of users in both LAN and WAN environments. Understanding and being able to model the effects of a VDI installation, its usage, and its bandwidth utilization on the network infrastructure will be critical in helping us develop our technologies
- Provision a Windows VM with a cloud provider of our choice and set it up for Horizon in the standalone/direct mode with GPU support
