Shop Hand

We’re looking for a motivated **full-time, permanent Shop Hand to join our Production Crew located in Exshaw, Alberta,**completing and supporting the team in the shop. The main responsibilities are to provide hands-on preparation of timber products, including operating machinery and equipment and facility maintenance in our warehouse.

**Main Activities**
- Prepare timber products daily by sanding and staining
- Ensure the shops is cleaned regularly and maintained
- Complete check lists
- Assist shipping and receiving with filling orders with product, load/un-load trucks, wrap packages that are ready to be shipped
- Provide product orders to the shipper/receiver once complete
- Moving and organizing the product in the warehouse
- Operating a variety of equipment such as different forklifts, CNC planers, woodworking machinery and tools
- Other duties as assigned

**Experience & Qualifications**
- No experience is required, training will be provided
- Forklift training will be provided
- First Aid and WHMIS is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with changing directions
- Ability to work as a team and assist others
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy
- Must be able to drive to the shop in Exshaw, Alberta daily

- $22-$25 per hour to start
