Logistics Coordinator

**MISSION**
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and carrier communication.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Ensure accurate data entry of received items into inventory and ERP systems.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Work closely with purchasing, production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulatory requirements during shipping and receiving activities.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification required or preferred).
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.
**Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role.
- Experience with shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight carriers).
- Familiarity with inventory systems and ERP software (e.g., JD Edwards).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
**Overall Working Conditions**:
Conditions are consistent with other similar manufacturing environments. Work involves prolonged standing and frequent lifting of products and materials up to 50 lbs. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment including but not limited to safety (steel toe) boots. Loose-fitting clothes, shorts pants, sleeveless shirts, and jewelry are not allowed.

- Veiller au respect de toutes les procédures de sécurité et des exigences réglementaires pendant les activités d'expédition et de réception.
- Utiliser des chariots élévateurs à fourche, des transpalettes ou d'autres équipements de manutention de manière sûre et efficace (certification requise ou souhaitée).
- Maintenir une zone d'expédition/réception propre et organisée.
**Qualifications, connaissances et compétences requises**:
- Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires ou équivalent ; une formation post-secondaire en logistique ou en chaîne d'approvisionnement est un atout.
- Expérience de plus de 2 ans dans un poste d'expédition/réception ou d'entrepôt.
- Expérience des plates-formes d'expédition (par exemple, FedEx, UPS, transporteurs de marchandises).
- Familiarité avec les systèmes d'inventaire et les logiciels ERP (par exemple, JD Edwards).
- Solides compétences organisationnelles et souci du détail.
- Capacité à soulever jusqu'à 50 livres et à rester debout pendant de longues périodes.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et capacité à travailler dans un environnement axé sur le travail d'équipe.
**Conditions générales de travail**:
Les conditions sont conformes à celles d'autres environnements de fabrication similaires. Le travail implique une station debout prolongée et le soulèvement fréquent de produits et de matériaux pesant jusqu'à 50 livres.
