**JOB SUMMARY**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Delivery Operations**:

- Safely operate company-owned vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to deliver products to designated locations, which may include restaurants, grocery stores, and other food service establishments
- Execute delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and maximize productivity
- Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage during transit and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure all returned products are carefully stored in the desired location with appropriate temperature controls in place
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations to ensure safe driving practices
- Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate authorities
- Follow safety guidelines for handling and transporting products to prevent contamination or spoilage

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Legends Haul in a courteous and professional manner
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and escalate any issues to the appropriate department or supervisor as needed
- Foster positive relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty to Legends Haul

**Communication and Documentation**:

- Communicate immediately with the appropriate personnel in case of concerns related to wrong orders or product returns encountered during deliveries
- Report any customer feedback or inquiries to the designated department for proper follow-up and resolution
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all delivery invoices and related paperwork

**Inventory Management**:

- Assist with inventory management by reporting discrepancies or shortages observed during deliveries
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper loading and unloading of products

**ROLE QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially in the food industry or a similar field is an asset
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, roadways, and routes to facilitate efficient deliveries
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and internal team members effectively
- Physical fitness and stamina to lift and move heavy loads (approximately 60lbs) frequently
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate delivery schedules
