Foreign Worker Coordinator and Translator

KD Poultry, a division of Moonfleet Poultry, is seeking a Spanish Translation Specialist to support our team. This role involves translating documents, assisting Spanish-speaking employees with workplace communications, supporting the foreign worker program, and performing basic maintenance on company-provided housing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurately translate documents, policies, and communications between English and Spanish.
- Assist Spanish speaking employees with workplace communication, ensuring clear understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Support the foreign worker program, including assisting with documentation, onboarding, and other related tasks.
- Provide interpretation services during meetings, training sessions, and work related discussions.
- Assist employees with medical trips, document renewals, and other necessary appointments.
- Conduct housing inspections and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure repairs and improvements are made.
- Maintain company housing to meet required standards, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for workers.
- Travel to Belleville, ON, as required to support employees and program needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Experience in translation, interpretation, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic maintenance skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Belleville, ON, as required.
- Experience in office administration or logistics is an asset.
- Poultry or agricultural experience is a plus.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in at least two languages (including the source and target languages) is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both source and target languages.
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with translation software (e.g., CAT tools) is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- A background in linguistics or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
