Fireplace Service Technician
- On-site customer service in various locations
- Able to use basic hand and power tools
- familiarity with residential construction practices
- Conduct voltage, resistance tests, etc. using electrical test equipment
- Diagnose faults, using testing devices
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair fireplaces
- Prepare estimate of repair costs
- Replace faulty components
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Willingness to take on other tasks as required or assist with fireplace installation

- Own vehicle for commute to shop
- Vehicle supplied by employer for service calls
- Capable of lifting, crouching, climbing ladders

**Qualifications**
- Education: Trade certificate or equivilent experience
- Experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in a relevant industry, 2 years
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Able to read, speak and write in English fluently
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while traveling to various job sites.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Physically fit and safety conscious
- Bondable
- Criminal record check

No weekends

Opportunities to extend the contract

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
