ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

**Position Summary**

**Key Duties And Responsibilities**
- Assist in the setup and general housekeeping of corrugate equipment
- Setup and change product materials in accordance with the production plan
- Continuously maintain or exceed production efficiency goals
- Provide Quality Inspectors with product samples for inspection
- Preparing and palletizing skids of finished product
- Follow and practice all GMP’s, HACCP and SQF protocols
- Work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned accordingly

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

**Education Required**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

**Education Desired**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

**Work Experience Required**
Previous experience in the packaging industry is considered an asset

**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**
- Must have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Quality Control Procedures.
- Ability to work in an environment that is continuously changing and improving
- Attention to detail, quality and safety is a must
- Must be able to work with a team of people across different functional areas as well as an individual
- Ability to engage in routine walking, standing, bending and carry items weight up to 40 lbs. plus for extended periods of time
- Valid Forklift license is considered to be an asset
- Ability to read production plans (dockets or spec packs) to ensure each production run is being completed as required
- Effectively communicate with others in a way that builds team work and collaboration
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Maintain and high level of trust and integrity
- WMS and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is considered an asset
- Proficient use of the English language (Reading, Writing, Speaking)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Physical Requirements**
- Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
- Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Standing, stooping (Kneeling), walking, and lifting on a daily basis
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
