Overnight Housekeeper

St Catharines, Canada Mount Carmel Retirement Home Full time

Mount Carmel Home is currently looking for an overnight housekeeper/PSW on a part-time basis. Shifts are from 9:00pm to 6:00am.

The schedule rotates every 2 weeks:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Duties include:

- washing resident bedding and towels
- cleaning public washrooms
- cleaning Chapel
- mopping and vacuuming common area floors, kitchen and dining room
- wiping and sanitizing counters
- responding to resident call bells as required
- routine night checks on residents, assisting with care

The incoming employee will be required to show proof of a recent Vulnerable Sector Check, or be able to obtain one upon employment.

Recent 2-step TB test required, or to be obtained upon hire.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 36 per week

**Benefits**:

- On-site parking

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 3 years (required)
